(Zaman Al Wasl)- At least 18 regime forces from coastal Latakia province have been killed since mid September, pro-regime news feeds reported.
The death toll included 5 army officers. Most of them were killed in the clashes with Daesh in the southern province of Sweida and eastern province of Deir Ezzor.
The Alawites-dominated areas are still the main manpower supply for Bashar al-Assad's regime.
More than 125,000 pro-regime forces have been killed in seven years of brutal war, according to local monitoring groups.
