The Interim Government has not refused to allocate salaries to the families of Civil Defence martyrs in Aleppo, an opposition senior official told Zaman Alwasl.
The official says the government is in process of issuing a new law to guarantee the rights of workers in the civilian and military institutions and its affiliates.
On Monday, workers of Civil Defense in Aleppo carried out a
sit-in called for allocating salaries for the 12 families.
The official pointed out that the law will be approved within a short period, indicating that the Coalition government will not hinder any support for the families of the martyrs, who sacrificed their blood for the sake of serving the country and its institutions.
Civil Defence soldiers, mostly university students and human rights advocates, have played a bravery role in rescuing hundreds of people of Syria's commercial capital as daily barrel bombs have reduced the entire buildings to ruins.
More than 162,000 people killed in Syria's three-year conflict and over 9 million forced to flee their homes.
