Lightning strike kills Syrian refugee child in Lebanon
Bekaa (Zaman Al Wasl)- A Syrian refugee child has been killed by lightning in the Lebanese Bekaa Valley on Thursday evening, activists told Zaman al-Wasl.

Anwar Alaiwi, 6-year-old, was struck by lightning while he was playing with two more children inside the refugee camp in Bar Elias town.

Alaiwi was killed on the spot while the two children were critically wounded.

The Bekaa Valley region, which is home for most Syrian refugees, has been experiencing heavy rains coupled with thunder and lightning.
