The Israeli Air Force carried out airstrikes on Friday using high-explosive missiles targeting weapons depots in the countryside of Damascus, Sweida and Hama.
Informed sources told Zaman al-Wasl that the Israeli Air Force targeted the summit of Mount Qasioun in the center of the capital Damascus on Friday, targeting a weapons depot belonging to the Republican Guard forces, in addition to a jamming radar on the summit of the mountain.
Israel also targeted the Khalkhala military airport in the countryside of Sweida Governorate and destroyed a radar inside the airport, in southern Syria, in addition to targeting the scientific research area in the village of al-Zawi in the countryside of the city of "Masyaf" northwest of Hama Governorate, central Syria.
The sources confirmed that the number of Israeli raids in Syria since the fall of the ousted Bashar al-Assad regime until Friday evening amounted to about 370 airstrikes using high-explosive missiles, destroying the entire Syrian naval fleet, the Syrian Air Force, air defense systems, weapons and missile depots, security headquarters, and Iranian militia depots in all Syrian governorates.
