Zaman Al Wasl obtains full data of Syrian military pilots

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Zaman al-Wasl has obtained the names, ranks and workplaces of the Syrian Air Force officers who operate in 14 military airfields throughout the war-torn country.

The lists include the names, ranks and workplaces of some 400 officers, who make up the vast majority of pilots, many of whom have committed war crimes against Syrians and most of them are commanders in the air force of regime army.

The air force was a crucial factor in the regime's declared war on the rebellious areas, where human rights reports confirmed that most of the victims had died by air force, both helicopters and jet fighters.

Despite the collapse of a large proportion of the air force in the regime by Syrian resistance downing of warplanes and the coordination of many of them, in addition to the defection of a group of pilots, but air force is still for the seventh year bombing heavily residential neighborhoods and vital centers to put an end to the lives of tens of thousands of of civilians, according to human rights reports of Syrian and international organizations.

This comes at a time wheres the international community, including the "friends of the Syrian people", has been ignoring the establishment of safe zones from the Assad warplanes, or supplying the Syrian resistance with anti-aircraft on the pretext of fear of reaching "wrong hands".

The Russians have killed more than 5,200 civilians since entering the battlefield in defense of Assad on 30 September 2015, according to report of Syrian Network for Human Rights.

In this context, Zaman al-Wasl publishes the names of the officers, most of them have committed massacres in different Syrian regions since the beginning of the Syrian revolution, putting in the hands of human rights organizations information that could serve to identify the perpetrators of war crimes witnessed by the Syrian revolution during the six years. In particular, the air force was the most frequently used in the massacres of missiles and ammunition, including internationally prohibited, such as phosphorous, cluster bombs and napalm, as well as chemical weapons used by the regime a lot, especially in the massacres of Ghouta and Khan Shekhoun.
