(Zaman Al Wasl)- ISIS major offensive on regime forces in eastern Homs have killed at least 20 regime troops near al-Qaryatayn, the desert town that fell to Daesh favor three weeks ago, activists said on Friday.
The fierce clashes took place near the village of Hamima in the eastern countryside of central Homs province, known as Badiya, leveaing 15 troops killed, according to ISIS news feeds.

Capture of al-Qaryatayn first of October was a big blow to the Syrian amid rapid advances in Deir Ezzor and Raqqa. ISIS still controls vast swathes in the Syrian desert what makes uprooting the extremist group is not imminent in the near future.
