Daraa, Sept. 25 (SANA) An Israeli occupation force launched an incursion to Wadi al-Raqad area in the Yarmouk Basin in western Daraa countryside on Friday and opened fire toward a shepherd and his children, with no injuries reported.
Local sources told SANA that the force, consisting of three vehicles, remained in the area for about half an hour and fired toward the shepherd and his children, forcing them to leave the location.
On Thursday, an Israeli occupation force assaulted a shepherd during an incursion between al-Asha village and al-Rafid town in southern Quneitra countryside, beating him and running over a number of his sheep, resulting in their deaths.
Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, as well as raids on civilians’ homes, arrests, land leveling and other attacks.
Syria has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation from its territory, stressing that all measures taken by the occupation are null and have no legal effect under international law, and calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities and ensure Israel’s complete withdrawal from southern Syria.
