Russia sets up new checkpoints in northern Homs
(Zaman Al Wasl)- Russian Military Police have set up new checkpoints in the northern countryside of Homs city as hundreds of displaced people plan to return back home from northern Syria.

More than 35000 rebel fighters and their families were evacuated from the towns of al-Rastan and Talbiseh in May to the northern province of Idlib but the harsh living conditions in displacement camps pushed many of them to decide returning home even if their towns under the regime control.

According to the 'reconciliation deals' Russia vowed to spread its forces to prevent any abuses by the regime army in the opposition areas after the departure rebels.
