Daesh militants attack regime forces in Deir Ezzor

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Daesh fighters on Friday have attacked regime bastion east of Deir Ezzor city, killing and wounding dozen, Amaq reported.

The group's news agency said five 'Inghimasi' fighters, or infiltrators, had attacked the army checkpoint in al-Hasarat village north of Albu Kamal city. One of them has been killed.

Daesh has launched another attack on regime forces in the Syrian desert, known as Badiya, using a blast.

Also in eastern Syria, four US-backed fighters were killed in IED explosion north of Deir Ezzor at the Rwaished-Abukhashab road, according to activists.

Daesh lost most of its territory in Syria last year, but retained some remote desert areas and has attacked the army and allied forces in recent weeks.
