Syria’s foreign minister discusses cooperation with Lebanese prime minister

Damascus, Aug 12 (SANA) Syria’s Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani held a telephone call with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two countries, Syria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement.

The discussions focused on serving the common interests of Syria and Lebanon and supporting their security and stability, the ministry said.

The call also addressed the latest regional and international developments and their implications for the two countries, while emphasizing the importance of continued coordination and cooperation in addressing issues of common interest.
