Damascus, Aug.12 (SANA) Defense Minister, Maj. Gen. Murhaf Abu Qasra, received on Wednesday Lebanese Ambassador in Damascus, Henry Kastoun.
Talks during the meeting dealt with means of enhancing cooperation and developing relations between Syrian and Lebanon, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.
High-level diplomatic visits, border security coordination, and economic transit discussions mark a new chapter between Beirut and Damascus following the fall of the ousted regime in December 2024.
